Kristine Best
Coach / Co-owner
CF LEVEL 1 and 2 trainer | My name is Kristine Best and I am co-owner of Undivided Fitness. I am a full-time special education teacher currently teaching 5th grade inclusion. I have competed in CrossFit for 10 years and one of my biggest accomplishments was placing 16th in the world in the 2020 CrossFit Games.
Background / How did you start CrossFit?
I have been involved in sports for most of my life. I played D1 basketball at Marist College. In my senior year, I tore my ACL and meniscus, and found CrossFit while rehabbing my knee. CrossFit was able to get me back to full conditioning, strength and health to play a fifth year. In 2013 after graduating, I started doing CrossFit and in 2014 got into the competitive side!
How long have you been doing CrossFit / Coaching?
I have been doing Crossfit for 10 years and coaching for around 7 years!
Why do you love to coach? I love being able to provide people with an experience that helps them to unlock their true potential. CrossFit is not for everybody but it’s for ANYONE! It is very rewarding for me as a coach to help people to see they are more capable than what they think!

CrossFit level 1 | I am one of the owners of undivided fitness, I was a former college lacrosse player at Adelphi university, where I won a national championship.
Background / How did you start CrossFit?
I started CrossFit in 2020 after I finished playing college lacrosse. I wanted to still do something that kept me competitive and that’s when I started CrossFit . I fell in love with it the moment I walked in and became addicted to it! Now I can’t picture my life without it , and the friendships that have been created by joining .
How long have you been doing CrossFit / Coaching? I have been doing crossfit for 4 years now starting in August of 2020, and have been coaching since 2022.
Why do you love to coach?
Coaching is a passion of mine, I love to see people become a better version of themselves every day and I also love to push people to create that better version of themselves. I want people to know they can do it and it doesn’t matter what level they are at, just being at the gym is a huge step ! Knowing that I can help change someone’s life and motivate them to keep coming back is what I love!

CrossFit L1 and CrossFit L2 , NASM Golf Fitness Specialist (GFS)
Background | How did you start CrossFit? I have always been an active person. As a kid I played almost every sport out there until about the 8th grade where I stopped all together. Although I detached myself from playing sports I continued to work out regularly, running through your typical globo/gym bro routines until 2010. I was first introduced to CrossFit from a colleague of mine who was training to enter the marines. He quickly ran me through a few workouts and I was hooked.
How long have you been doing CrossFit / Coaching? Although my first introduction to CrossFit Was in 2010 I joined my first CrossFit gym in 2014. As CrossFit and its community became more and more a part of my life, I was encouraged to get my Level 1 Certification in 2019, where I started a coaching internship and coaching later that year.
Why do you love to coach?
I love coaching for many reasons. However, helping athletes of all levels set, achieve, and pass goals is beyond gratifying and a huge reason why I coach.
GREG LHUILLIER
Coach
CrossFit level 1 | I’m an Office Manager for a Physical Therapy practice in Babylon, NY and also provide Independent Case Management for individuals with cognitive and functional disabilities.
Background / How did you start CrossFit? I was an athlete growing up, playing a variety of team sports throughout the years, with my main sport of passion being ice hockey. I started Crossfit in January 2016. What has kept me coming back, since day one, is the atmosphere, the competition, the community, and the coaches.
How long have you been doing CrossFit / Coaching?
I’ve been doing Crossfit for 7 years. I started coaching in December 2021, so almost 4 years. Why do you love to coach? As a coach, you can have a direct impact in helping people improve, build confidence, change who they are, their own self perception, and their physical and mental well being. The look on an athlete’s face when they accomplish what they thought they couldn’t is priceless and worth every second spent coaching. I truly believe my success as a coach is measured in the success of my athletes.

Background / How did you start CrossFit?
Started CrossFit back in 2011 to prepare myself for the stresses of the FDNY Fire Academy. Wound up falling in love with the sport and its competitive nature. I made it a part of my life, and haven’t looked back since.
How long have you been doing CrossFit / Coaching?

Why do you love to coach? Being able to have a hand in changing someone’s life and outlook, the same way my early coaches did for me, is a huge reason why I love coaching and haven’t stopped for the better part of a decade. Being able, through IGY6 Fitness and Next Rung, to have a hand in developing the physical abilities of first responders is something I’m extremely passionate about and believe in. Being able to impart what I know for a profession I’m extremely proud of is another big reason why I love what I get to do.
